Columbus Federation of Settlements
The Columbus Federation of Settlements is a coalition of seven neighborhood-based organizations working together under one nonprofit to strengthen the ability of each member to serve its unique community. With a common philosophy of social reform utilizing the strengths of neighborhoods at the grassroots level, the members of the Federation offer programs—including the Transit Arts program—to strengthen family, neighborhood, and community life and to respond to changes such as increases in immigrant populations and the number of elderly residents raising young children. Transit Arts, a youth arts development program, is a partnership the Federation, Central Community House (CCH), and the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
