Mission

“The Baltimore American Indian Center, Inc. (BAIC) is dedicated to serving the needs of Native Americans living in the State of Maryland by providing social, economic and training assistance, and access to health-related services. The BAIC is committed to providing Arts, cultural awareness, and education to Native and non-Natives. The BAIC also aims to provide a central voice and focus for expressing concerns and resolving problems affecting Native Americans in Maryland through consensus.

Vision

“We envision a strong statewide organization nurturing and preserving the culture and history of American Indians and Alaskan Natives with a building housing a museum, offices, and spaces for BAIC programs and community gatherings.”
